Austin Film Festival

During the fall of 2021, I had the amazing opportunity to internship with The Austin Film Festival. Work as an intern in the conference department, my role was to provide excellent customer service by answer phone calls, research biographies to compile panels, check Google alerts for potential panelist information, write articles for the Tricks of the Trade blog, assist in writing the Panel Copy, and act as a Room Manager during the conference in the fall. My role as a Room Manager required me to act as a host to celebrity panelists, solve any issues that may arise in the panel room, and manage a group of amazing volunteers.
