Overview

She Kills Monsters was a fantastic production to scenic design. The scenic design needed to reflect two very different worlds including Athens, Ohio in the 90s and the fantasy world of New Landia. This project proved to be challenging, because I needed to be able to create a unique and aesthetic atmosphere for the play to take place in, while maintaining stage space for stage combat, dance choreography, and large puppets. Overall, this was an amazing learning opportunity that taught me valuable skills that I will utilize over the course of my designing career.
